Every year we come up with a slogan on how the new year is our year and we make resolutions to make changes that we normally break the moment we make them. We vow to quit smoking, lose weight, get a better job, cut that bitch off and make better friends, live for today and live for only us and blah blah happy new year and FAIL!
What is it with the new year traditions, and who even started this trend?
I encourage everyone this year not to set a New Years resolution and instead just BE Good to yourself daily starting NOW. Quit smoking cigarettes daily, if you happen to smoke one after quitting, quit again. Start eating healthy now and exercising more. Should you have some Popeyes the next day, so BE it, start BEing healthy again right after. Whatever it is that is holding you back from BEing Good to yourself let it go daily and day by day until that bad habit is no longer. But don’t do it for any New Years resolution trend. You don’t have to even tell anyone or post on social media about it. Just choose to BE Good to yourself and daily! Day by day, forever. And if you slip here and there BE Good to yourself and pick yourself back up. DAILY!
