happhap

Sometimes in life we experience traumatic events that cause us to feel low, sad, angry, over it. Death of a love one, a bad break up between lovers or friends, losing your job, etc. It is most expected to feel and show some emotions and for a long period of time.

Most of the time our moods or emotions of being sad, hurt, angry, come from things we hold on to. Example, ever been in an argument with someone and brought up something they did during the last confrontation that YOU supposedly forgave them for? I have, I DO, and this is simply because you haven’t let go of it and if I can be real, you haven’t forgiven them. I’m not saying anyone is wrong for holding on to something and being in their heads about the same shit that has been holding them back, well not in this Keynote, I’m just saying we shouldn’t dwell on that crap every day, all day.

Dwelling only allows the feeling to manifest and grow into a deeper feeling. A feeling we then find hard to shake loose. It then shows up on our faces. Permanent angry indentions, locked clinched jaws, frowns, wrinkles.

It’s important to take a break from these feelings. Actually, you should find a way to forgive and move on from it but if for some reason you can’t at this time, then take a break! Find a way to BE Happy. Call a friend who is super silly that you can rely on to give you comedy in a conversation and instead of complaining about your issues and emotions let the conversation be about something good that has happened currently in your life. Google a joke or a few until you are cracking up and then share the joke with a friend and laugh together! Do you have friends with little babies, a little family member you can hang out with and play with? Children these days have so much spunk and say some of the silliest yet realest things ever. GO LAUGH WITH THEM! Watch a comedy show, a comedy movie, hell, look in damn mirror and laugh at yourself for being so silly and forgetting that you are in charge of your feelings and emotions and have the right to choose to BE Happy!

It’s to be upset, angry, sad, hurt, down, whatever but IT’S VERY IMPORTANT TO BE HAPPY! Life is going to do what it does and throw some frowns your way but it also throws smiles! Catch some smiles and BE Happy!

BElieve, BE Free, BE YOUtiful…BE!

  1. I actually looked in the mirror at work not that long ago and made myself laugh b/c somebody pissed me off earlier. It worked. Thank you for this reminder today. 🙂

  2. What a great perspective on how to be happy ♡ Keone your words inspire me because sometimes we do need to look at our silly selves and say, come on get over it. You’re right, we cause our own wrinkles!!! #behappy #belove
